I’m a backend engineer who has spent eight years mostly inside PHP — the language nobody puts on the front of a t-shirt, but the one that quietly runs more of the internet than most people would care to admit.

I like systems with edges: ledgers, queues, schedulers, billing, anything where being wrong is loud. I write a lot of tests, I read a lot of logs, and I’ve made peace with the fact that the best code I’ve written this year is the code I deleted.
